ON HOLIDAYS FOR ONE WEEK: HAPPY NEW YEAR!
The blog about the ongoing influence of Andy Warhol's philosophy in the 21 st century. From art to instant fame, sex, beauty, celebrity gossip obsession, business or fitness why we live in a Warholian world more than ever.
Arnold Schwarzenegger is straight as a die. Why then he consented to this Blueboy interview? «Gays are like bodybuilders. Everyone stereotypes them and makes all kinds of assumptions about them. For a lot of years I've been categorized. I have suffered from being stereotyped so I feel for what it must be like to be gay. People meet me and they have already made up their minds about me because I'm a bodybuilder. It has hurt me». Arnold pauses and continues, «I respect gay men, communicate with them, associate with them»
«I truly believe that age -- if you're healthy -- age is just a number»
“Poetry is the way into a spiritual vision of society and the universe.”
i simply cant focus on the girl in his scenes. he fuks like a champ and handles his wang so well that i cant take my eyes off him. then i begin to mire his physique and how he looks pumped as fuk in all his scenes, and im checking out his arms and everything, then i realize that this is pretty homo. then i prematurely ejaculate and feel guilty because i effectively masturbated to a guy's forearm vascularity. then when i close my browser and go to clean up, i cant even remember who the girl was in the scene. all i can think about is johnny's shiny bald head and voluptuous biceps.
(strong no homo)
Every time the left forget about the importance of the expression «tough love», it goes into decline.
The $34-million price tag on Gerhard Richter’s “Abstraktes Bild (809-4)” set a record for the highest auction price ever paid for a work by a living artist. It also outdid Richter’s previous record of $22 million. The painting’s provenance also may have added to its star power: The primary-pigment beauty was previously owned by guitarist Eric Clapton, who, as it happens, paid just over $3 million for it in 2001.
«The world of the Abstract Expressionists was very macho. The painters who used to hang around the Cedar bar on University Place were all hard-driving, two fisted types who'd grab each other and say things like" I'll knock your fucking teeth out» and «I'll steal your girl».
The real luxury is to never have to deal with stupid people.
Last february in New York City, Arnold appeared at The Whitney Museum in a live exhibition: ARTICULATE MUSCLE/THE BODY AS ART. A panel of distinguished art historians said their pieces. Colin Eisler, professor of fine arts at the institute of Fine Arts of New York University drew a comparaison between Michelangelo carving a body out of a piece of marble and the bodybuilder carving his own body. Much applause. When Eisler finally said bodybuilding «poses are the personification of 19 century-camp» he was booed. Someone shouted «Take your shirt off». Someone else threw a cushion at him.

If there is a very, very hot young arabic guy in a gay place, don't cruise him directly. You will be «the unmanly, faggy white guy» to his eyes. Ignore him. Minutes later he will be on his knees giving you the best bj....

«The most publicly celebrated figure to emerge from pop art is Andy Warhol. Claes Oldenberg and Roy Lichtenstein may well have received more serious consideration from the official art world, but to the american public-at-large Andy Warhol is pop»
I like when John Waters said in an interview with artist Deborah Kass that when he's in Hollywood people are talking to him in Yiddish, assuming everybody over there is jewish...
-Andy Warhol: How do you keep your good looks?
Chuck Close recalls seeing a show of Warhol’s Heinz Ketchup and Brillo boxes in 1964, when he was a graduate student at Yale: “It was a mindblower.” Jeff Koons reveals, “Where I’ve been inspired and impressed by Andy is in the sense of economy, of getting more out of something than is put in.” Julian Schnabel says, “When we look at what people are doing now, over the past 20 years, I don’t know that I have seen anything that he didn’t do. He is a giant.” What would Andy say? Probably something like “Oh, gee. Oh, wow. I’m really, really up there now.”
Damiel Craig wants Rihanna as James Bond Girl.
Why Damien Hirst will be the best investment 20 years from now: Roy Lichtenstein was once called the worst living artist, Warhol was said to be completely irrelevant in the 1980's, and Joseph Mugrabi owns about 100 of Hirst works.
"[Calvin] picked me up in his car, drove me down to the Holiday Inn in Chelsea, and we went downstairs in the basement of the hotel," he says, furrowing his brow.According to Gruber, another man was waiting there with a lie detector. He said he was an ex-detective, and presented a business card bearing the name "Dr. Love." Gruber, indignant that Klein was accusing him of cheating, says he agreed to be hooked up to the machine and interrogated for about two hours."He made me take a lie-detector test," Gruber says in disbelief. "I passed it. And then, you know, things were much better. But I mean, what kind of partner would make you take a lie detector test? I was like, 'Did you ever cheat on me, Calvin?' I never cheated on him."
"I made Calvin go to McDonald's and have a Big Mac, and he asked if they had it medium rare," he says with a laugh."He took a bite, and he was like, 'Ugh, what's this?' I'll never forget that story: medium rare for a Big Mac at McDonald's," Gruber adds, shaking his head.
The only places I can understand is the brothel, the gym and the library. Isn't it the same thing after all?
Every year millions of persons think they will survive cancer because they think they can. Millions won't.
How can someone, male or female, being sexually turned on by a cock is absolutely beyond me.
Rockefeller seemed interested in, and comfortable with, Andy in a way that few politicians ever were.
Warhol was so right. Sex is the biggest nothing of all. Too bad I wasn't born straight. Nothing more ridiculous and pathetic than grown up gay men trying to act like 16 year old all their lives. What would we miss without the current gay culture? Absolutely nothing!
Somebody asked me what I would like the most a few days ago. Very simple: Creating characters and scenarios for pro wrestling and writing outrageous articles titles for Cosmopolitan magazine.
Angelina Jolie thinks about stoping her acting career.
Just read this new book THANK YOU ANDY WARHOL by Catherine Johnson. I liked when Bob Colacello said that Warhol truly enjoyed TV more than art films, and plastic more than marble. But after reading the book I thought to the many thank you I would have to say to many artists. So here they are:
