After Miss California, Carrie Prejean expressed her disapproval of same-sex unions, a worldwide debate has ensued. A-list celebrities, Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus have jumped on the bandwagon, throwing their support behind same-sex marriage. Both starlets have fervently disagreed with Prejean's views and offered their opinions regarding the controversial topic. Expressing her thoughts through Twitter, Britney wrote: “Love is love! People should be able to do whatever makes them happy!”Devout Christian Miley Cyrus also used her Twitter page to show her support for same-sex marriage inisisting Jesus loves people of all sexual orientations equally: “Jesus loves you AND your partner and wants you to know how much he cares! thats like a daddy not loving his lil boy cuz hes gay and that is WRONG and very sad! like i said everyone deserves to be happy.”
