«It was Andy who introduced me to Grace Jones. When I looke at her,  I find her body
to be the the ultimate body to paint. First, Andy takes pictures of Grace and me together.
Then he tells her that he wants to interview her for the cover of Interview.  Of course, I had seen Grace Jones before, because she was the diva and disco queen of the whole Paradise Garage scene.
But I reall, really want to paint her body because she's the embodiment  of everything thatù's both primitive and pop».
