«GOOD BUSINESS IS THE BEST ART»
«Andy Warhol's Pop Art solo debut at the Ferus Gallrey in Los Angeles in july 1962 consisted of silkscreened paintings of larger-than-life cans of the thirty-two available flavors of Campbell's Soup priced at $100 each. Only six sold during the show, the first one to actor Dennis Hopper, but the gallerist Irving Blum bought those back to keep the set together, paying Warhol $1000 over ten months for the set. In 1996 Blum sold the set to MOMA for $15 millions.
