«I WANT TO BE MATISSE»

A blockbuster Matisse exhibition disproving the myth that his famous cut-outs could be made by a child has broken all Tate records, eclipsing Damien Hirst to become the most popular show in its history.

Tate has announced Henri Matisse: The Cut-Outs is the first exhibition ever to have more than half a million visitors, with 562,622 members of the public walking through its doors.
