«Usually the people who are the most generous are people who have the least to give. I learned this first hand as a newspaper carrier when I was 12 year old. The biggest tips came from the poorest people. I was surprised by this, but i learned it as a lesson. People on the streets of New York who give money to beggars are often people who have very little themselves. They don't expect anything in return. It's quite natural.
