THE «NOW» CULTURE

«In Hollywood they're not necessarely respecters of their own past. For instance they've just a remake of Psycho. Somebody like me thinks«Well, why remake Psycho. Can you improve it?» But Hollywood knows that for a mass audience everything has to be «now» in films. Only the movie buff goes to see Psycho. In fact now you have to be a movie buff to have heard of Alfred Hichtcock. Movies are always about now».
